I am currently engaged in writing two books.  One is an analysis of administrative traditions in the industrialized democracies. This is an elaboration of the arguments in an earlier edited book. The second book is entitled “Governing in the Shadows”, and is an examination of a range of alternative models of governance that link formal and informal mechanisms. I also am working on a project on ethnic and gender representativeness in non-governmental providers of public services.
