PhD program application portal for Fall 2022 admission now open.

The application portal for applications to the PhD program for Fall 2022 is now open, and will close on January 15, 2022.  Those interested in applying should review our How To Apply page and submit all materials through GradCAS: https://gradcas.liaisoncas.org/apply/

The political science program trains researchers to tackle important societal questions. Our students develop skills across the main fields of political science: American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, Methods, and Political Behavior.  For questions related to applying to the program, please contact the Graduate Administrator, Brian Deutsch, at briandeutsch@pitt.edu.

In an effort to reduce financial barriers to attending graduate school, the Kenneth P. Dietrich Graduate School of Arts and Sciences offers application fee waivers.
