The Political Science Department announces a new seminar series, "Historical Political Economy Seminar" (HPES)

Pitt’s online departmental speaker series on Historical Political Economy invites leaders working across political science subfields who study core issues in political economy through a historical lens. Our scheduled speakers will be presenting work on a broad range of topics, including the politics of untouchability, indigenous territorial authority, legislative development, bureaucracy, and state formation in historical context.
