Rian is currently a graduate student in Political Science, with a concentration in international political economy and research methods. His most current research is on the conflicts within governments between the elected fiscal authorities and the appointed, usually independent, monetary authorities. Rian has acted as both an Analytical TA for European Politics and Mass Political Behavior, and as a TA for Introduction to International Relations. He is slated to teach Research Methods in the Summer 2019 term.
